2009 Derby Results

Without a doubt, every competitor in the Mid MO Soap box Derby is a winner. These young people have learned about many things: Physics, as they work on the drag and aerodynamics of their cars; Dexterity, as they work with a number of tools; Friction, as they manipulate and free up the bearings in their wheels; Determination, as they work on their cars from the initial set-up through Race Day and beyond; Competition, as they reach for their own personal best; and Friendship, as their competition becomes some of their new best friends through sharing the Derby experience.

Congratulations to each and every one of these fine young men and women!
