2010 Derby Results Without a doubt, every competitor in the Mid MO Soap box Derby is a winner. These young people have learned about many things: Physics, as they work on the drag and aerodynamics of their cars; Dexterity, as they work with a number of tools; Friction, as they manipulate and free up the bearings in their wheels; Determination, as they work on their cars from the initial set-up through Race Day and beyond; Competition, as they reach for their own personal best; and Friendship, as their competition becomes some of their new best friends through sharing the Derby experience. Congratulations to each and every one of these fine young men and women! (Click on the division below to view the results) |
