2011 Car Construction Clinics

Many drivers work on their cars at home for weeks before the races. Young drivers and their "crew chiefs" may also wish to take advantage of our car clinics to help prepare their cars for race day. Volunteers from the MMSBD will offer help and advice on every aspect of the assembly of the cars, in particular on safety enhancements required for existing cars, positioning of the brake pedal, and on callibrating the axle alignment.

Cars are impounded after the final inspection. The driver and the crew can have no further contact with the car after it has been impounded. Plan ahead to avoid any last minute problems with your car.

The clinics are held at the Downtown Optimist Club building, 1201 Grand Avenue, Columbia, MO, 65201. This year the clinics will be held at the following dates and times:
